Illustrative signing preview. Your published form reflects the fields and wording you choose.
  1. 01

    Skater and visit details

Identify each skater, session date, and lesson or party group. Record guardian identity for minors and distinguish participation from a spectator-only visit.

  2. 02

    Ice activities covered

Name public skating, beginner lessons, and equipment rental where offered. Specify whether skating aids are allowed and which specialized activities require another session.

  3. 03

    Ice and blade risks

Describe falls on hard ice, contact with blades, collisions, and uneven or changing surfaces. Include cold conditions and outdoor weather exposure when relevant.

  4. 04

    Session conduct and ice access

Insert direction-of-travel, speed, passing, and prohibited-maneuver rules. Explain the signal to clear the ice and that access resumes only when staff permit it.

  5. 05

    Rental fit and assistance

Tell guests where to report loose laces, fit problems, damaged equipment, or a fall. Describe the rink's helmet policy and designated areas for changing skates.

  6. 06

    Consent and emergency contacts

Add reviewed participation terms, guardian consent where required, and the signature date. State who supervises children during public skating and instructor-led lessons.

Make arrival easier for your team.

  1. 01

Send the link with school-trip and party details before the visit

  2. 02

Check each skater rather than relying on a single group organizer's signature

Keep the signing area off the wet entry route and away from rental returns

Make it specific to your operation.

  1. 01

Specify indoor or outdoor conditions and the sessions included

  2. 02

State helmet and skating-aid rules for the relevant age group

  3. 03

Separate hockey, advanced figure skating, and public-skate activities

  4. 04

Describe guardian attendance and lesson handoff arrangements

  5. 05

Have counsel and your insurer review the final terms

Review before you publish.

Can a public-skating waiver cover hockey practice?

Hockey introduces sticks, pucks, drills, and potentially contact. Use terms that explicitly describe those activities rather than assuming a recreational-skating form covers every use of the rink.

What should change for a seasonal outdoor rink?

Describe weather exposure, changing surface conditions, and staff-directed closures. Put arrival and rescheduling information in booking communications as well, so visitors can plan before leaving home.

Does guardian consent mean a child can skate unsupervised?

No. State the attendance policy for that program. A learn-to-skate lesson may have an instructor handoff, while public skating may require an accompanying adult to remain at the rink.
